Fishing Tournament

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, Kel's Kove RV Park & Marina & Homer Hardware will host the Louisiana Legends Fest Bass Tournament presented by the Claiborne Parish Watershed District.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Entry Fee: $200 per boat
Big Bass: $20 per person (optional)

Prizes: First Place: $3,000

Second Place: $1,500

Third Place: $500

​

Start Time: Safe daylight to 3:00pm

Weigh-in will be held at 3:00pm

Top 3 Winners will be awarded prize money.

Tournament Rules

• All state & federal rules will apply to this tournament.

• Pre-fishing ends at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, October 16th.

• 1⁄4 pound penalty for dead fish weighed.

• Big bass must be live to win.

• 5 fish limit.

• No live bait.

• Minimum length of fish will be 12”.

• Must wear PFD while operating the big motor.

• All disputes must be addressed prior to closing of the scales.

• No alcohol prior to or while fishing the tournament.

• No more than 2 anglers per boat.

• NO PROFESSIONAL FISHERMAN.  No professional guides or anyone with a guiding license eligible to participate. If 50% of annual income is generated by fishing, you will not be eligible to participate.

• Boats that pre-register will be assigned a number in the order of registering

  for takeoff.

• Boats that register the morning of will be last to take off, in the order of

  registration that morning.

• Insurance: All boat owners must provide proof of insurance and registration of the boat used in the tournament. Documentation shall be provided to the Tournament Director upon request.​​​​​
