General Rules

Riders, owners, and spectators attend at their own risk.

Good sportsmanship is expected at all times.

Abuse of livestock, contestants, or officials may result in disqualification.

No illegal substances are permitted on arena grounds.
Arena & Competition Rules:
-
Standard cloverleaf barrel pattern will be used.
-
Electronic timer will be official.
-
A knocked over barrel results in a No Time (NT). Breaking pattern results in a No Time (NT).
-
3 calls equals a scratch.
-
Re-runs are only granted for timer malfunction or arena interference.
Entry Rules:
-
Entry fees must be paid before competing.
-
Multiple horses may be entered.
-
Draw order may be random.
-
Late entries may be added to the end of the draw.
Safety Rules:
-
No riding double.
-
Horses must remain under control at all times.
-
No abusive horse handling.
-
Parents are responsible for minors.
5D FORMAT
Divisions will be paid based on the fastest overall time using a 0.5 second split:
-
1D Fastest Time
-
2D 0.5 second split
-
3D 1.0 second split
-
4D 1.5 second split
-
5D 2.0 second split
Example:
If the fastest time if 15.000

1D 15.000-15.499
-
2D 15.500-15.999
-
3D 16.000-16.499
-
4D 16.500-16.999
-
5D 17.000-17.499
Payout Rules:
-
Payout percentages and places paid will be based on total entries.
-
Equal money added to each division unless otherwise posted.
-
Ties will split payout equally.
-
Payout will be ready for pickup 30 minutes after event ends. Payout will be mailed out to winners, unless winner picks up winnings at the end of the event.
